What’s more, the CR 600 can be configured through
remote downloads—when connected to high-function VeriFone terminals
or electronic cash registers (ECRs). Or locally—through
specially formatted checks.
Self-diagnostics cut back on service

When the CR 600 is powered, it automatically runs a diagnostic program. If it detects a problem, a specific explanation code appears on its display, allowing you to convey the exact nature of the problem to the help desk. With the reduced need for hands-on servicing, maintaining an installed base of CR 600 units requires a fraction of the resources compared to other competitive products.
A choice of configurations
The CR 600 comes standard with an RS-232 port for communication through your Tranz®, Omni® or Everest™ terminals. It supports both RS-232 and RS-485 protocols, integrating with the major ECR/POS systems. As an option, the CR 600 also supports IBM ECR and PC keyboard wedge interfaces.
